Pro Tools HD 7.1cs10 Update for Mac OS X (PPC)
October 18, 2006
For Pro Tools|HD and Pro Tools|HD Accel Systems with Pro Tools HD 7.0 or 7.1
Including Systems with Avid Mojo, and Media Station|PT 1.8.2
For HD Systems on PowerPC-based Mac OS X 10.4 Only
This update will not work without Pro Tools HD 7.0 or 7.1 already installed
Avid Mojo Users:
Please see the information at the end of this document regarding the use of Avid Mojo with Power Mac G5 PCIe (PCI Express) models.
What's Fixed in Pro Tools HD 7.1cs10?
Pro Tools HD 7.1cs10 for Mac OS X contains the following:
Fixed: Importing Files By Drag and Drop Could Prevent The Session From Being Saved (Item #80417)
MP3, MP4, WAV and AIFF were affected
A subsequent Save, Save As, Save A Copy or Auto-Backup would result in an assertion error
Note: this problem was inadvertently introduced in Pro Tools HD 7.1cs9
Fixed - Standard Type 1 MIDI files, exported from Pro Tools 7.x, could not be read by some applications (item #71254)
Fixed: Relink Problems When Using Mtools, Soundminer, or NetMix to import files (Item #81138)
Using "Automatically Copy on Import" created a duplicate file only when using Soundminer. Only the Pro Tools-created file (with an appended "2") was assigned a Unique ID.
No Unique ID was being added to files imported by Mtools or Netmix
The relink problems would occur when reopening the session
